Rooted in purpose.
Grown with innovation.
Nourishing community.
At Mushalom, we believe that mushrooms are more than food—they are a source of medicine, sustainability, wonder, and connection. We aim to cultivate gourmet and medicinal mushrooms with reverence using sustainable methods rooted in our local ecosystem.
Our mission is to:
Cultivate high-quality culinary and medicinal mushrooms that nourish body and mind
Build a resilient local food system
Offer accessible mycology education
Bridge traditional knowledge and modern science
Celebrate and research the role of fungi in ecological restoration and bioremediation
We operate with a spirit of experimentation, collaboration, and humility, knowing that fungi teach us to grow in connection, to decompose what needs to be transformed, and to bloom when conditions are right.
We've already inoculated our first local Utah-harvested hardwood logs with Lion's Mane, Reishi, Blue Oyster, and Turkey Tail. Our long-term vision includes farm stays, on-site education, collaborative research, and seasonal foraged product offerings. We're here for the long haul, guided by the mushroom's steady rhythm.
